Not much of a difference from the photos I have to say.
But from my hands on experience with Maybelline's Curl Power, it really does give the POWAR!!!!
Despite of it's super huge brush, I have no problems applying it on my super short lashes at all!

I didn't even even brush my lid by accident on the every first time application!
(which I did on Rimmel's comb)

I think it's the curve of the brush which did the magic for not brushing my lids.
Damn easy to use!
Well, it curls much better than Rimmel's, I have to say. At least I don't need to wait for Rimmel's to dry and to curl them again.
Plus, I love the soft creamy formula which doesn't smudge and dries quickly, and the purple packaging!

ya i like maybelline's xxl also, very good! the only mascara ive used so far. havent tried the purple one before though. and u look nice in the with makeup pic!

Make-up is one of those great joy that we girls enjoy =) It doesn't take much to make all the difference!
I swear by L'Oreal's Volume Shocking mascara. Makes my eye lashes look like false lashes. It took me some getting used to cos my lashes were like an umbrella, shielding my eyes from the sun....
